AerosoftCrackerV2.exe

A few days ago, I came across a nifty website called Virus Total. It's one of the best virus testing websites out there, but it's also incredibly easy to use. You can upload any suspicious file or URL and it will tell you if the file is infected with viruses. It's no wonder this site is so popular, as it can save you hours of work in getting rid of malware! But since VirusTotal is run by an anti-virus company, I was curious to see if their rankings were correct. So I downloaded AerosoftCrackerV2.exe from the website and uploaded it to my computer for testing on Virus Total. In the image above, you can see that it detected a Trojan horse. In fact, Virus Total detected a total of 8 different viruses within this single executable! But were they really viruses? Here's how I responded: I was surprised to see that the false positives really added up in this image. Even though VirusTotal is one of the best virus testing websites out there, it could still use a little refining in its detection algorithm in order to become perfect. While I'm not sure if this specific example is an error in their system or not, I'm sure they'll get it fixed soon enough. But the fact remains that they are still one of the best virus detection websites around, so you should definitely use it if you have any suspicious files to test. And if you're looking for an anti-virus program to download, I highly recommend Avast!
